Kolmanskop Untitled II

Kolmanskop is located in the Namibian desert. In the past, the village was stormed by diamond hunters, now it is stormed by the dunes that now reign supreme. Antti Viitala shows us here a house that has been swallowed up by grains of sand. This photograph proves that nature always ends up restoring its rights over human constructions.
